Submission feels like such a terrible word. But is it possible that submission could open a door to something more powerful? Jesus submitted to death on a cross and his bodily resurrection was the result. What is possible, now, because of his resurrection? What role does submission play in our relationships with the people we encounter? Does it matter? When Jesus appeared to those who would follow him, after he rose from the grave, he shared some very specific next steps with those who would say "Yes" to Jesus. What were the words that he shared? Have you submitted to them? Really? This is the moment on truth.
