If you have been following the current events in Russia and the Middle East and you are familiar with what God tells us, in His Word, about what is to come!
You likely feel a sense of anticipation about all that is supposed to happen before Jesus comes back for His Church! And if you are not familiar with what God has told us would happen, there is likely a sense of anxiety and distress about what is happening around the world right now.
That would make perfect sense. It is not good!
The crazy thing is that none of this is a surprise to God. He knew it would happen. The return of Jesus for His Church is imminent.
Today's message is entitled: Be The Church!
And what is the Local Church apart from the presence of God? Really? Another social club? A place to make us feel good about ourselves? A place to make others feel badly about themselves? It was never supposed to be like this.
Sadly, many churches are being marginalized in a time when people desperately need to experience God all the more!
What did the Church look like when it first began? What role did certain gifts have in that time when the Spirit of God was present? Are those gifts still here now?
How can we continue to Be The Church to a world that needs the hope that comes with knowing Jesus, today!
