We are to do what Jesus did. What did Jesus do? He loved God, loved others, and made disciples. Any power we have to live out the commands of God stems from the overflow of his love for us. Our relationship with God sustains and guides us to do things we are not normally able to do. We can't--and don't need to--do these on our own strength: all of them flow from God's love for us and our intimacy with him.
